What to expect

On this full-day private guided tour, you will visit the baroque city of Varazdin and the most beautiful castle in Croatia, Trakošćan. Emphasis is on exploring local history, architecture, and art. On your way to Varaždin, your driver-guide will give you a historical overview of Croatia, Varaždin and the region itself. Once you reach Varaždin, you will explore its cobbled streets and beautiful palaces by joining your guide on a walking tour. After the walk, you will have free time. Next stop will be Varaždin cemetery which most definitely differs from regular final resting places. The last stop on your tour will be a 13th-century castle where you will take a journey through time. Arrival in Zagreb in late afternoon.
