What to expect
Spend a day exploring the surroundings of Zagreb by visiting 2 unique destinations where you will taste delicious local food and exquisite wine. You will be picked-up and whisked away to Samobor, a charming little town well-known for its rich history, gastronomy, and baroque architecture. If you dare, we are able to take a 10 minute hike to the ruins of the old town and enjoy a spectacular view of the surroundings.
We will then continue to the Croatian sparkling wine region and visit a very special winery and a small family-run cheese factory. In the winery you will be pampered by the winemaker who will undoubtedly amaze you with his passion as well as his personal connection to his wines. Take a seat and enjoy 8 varieties of this heavenly liquid paired with a homemade charcuterie plate.
The second stop will be a small family cheese farm that produces varieties of different cheeses. The cheese varies from soft cow cheese similar to halloumi, smoked cheese, as well as properly aged hard aromatic cheese. We will then return to Zagreb in the early evening hours.
